At the conclusion of the second day of our Assembly, we reflected on our call to peace and blessed a new peace pole in our Motherhouse Meadow. Through our peace pole we join a grassroots global movement to inspire and re-awaken the inherent consciousness of love, peace, and harmony that exists in every one of us. We intentionally placed our peace pole in front of our Motherhouse as a witness to our commitment to be bearers of peace and an invitation to all those who visit us to join in this commitment through their own action and prayer for peace. The words “May Peace Prevail on Earth” are inscribed on the Peace Pole in English, German, Spanish, and the native language of the local Ohlone people.
