Sisters Sharon Dempsey, Jane Marie Estoesta, Rose Marie Hennessy, Carolyn McCormack, and Beth Quire, our Committee for Stewarding Implementation (CSI), led us through a day focused on our future planning. This continues to be a journey of transformation on all levels of our organization as we move from a stance of reaction to diminishment to proactively choosing to shape a future full of hope. We are focused on choosing life and revitalizing our mission, community, and relationships guided by our Direction Statement and restorative practices. Our commitment to grow in right relationships continues to lead us forward. Sister Colleen Mary Mallon addressed the meaning and responsibility of sponsorship as foundational for future planning related to our legacy ministries at ICA-Cristo Rey, St. Catherine’s Academy, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, and the Dominican School of Music. We treasure each of these ministries and are committed to working with our boards and lay partners to identify the best way to ensure their future sustainability.
