Living the Word

Handmade gifts, holiday treats, and joyful community—don’t miss our 2026 Holiday Boutique!

Holiday Boutique 10 am-2 pm

Saturday, November 21, 2026

Join us for a day filled with community, joy, and prayer as we celebrate our Holiday Boutique during this 150th anniversary of Dominican life in Mission San Jose. As you shop and visit, we open our Chapel and our hearts, lifting prayers for peace and trusting that God’s light continues to shine through our shared Dominican mission.

Gifts That Carry the Spirit of the Season

Last year’s Boutique was a beautiful testament to community and faith—filled with warmth, festive aromas, and joyful connection. We are deeply grateful to all who joined us, sharing coffee and pie with the Sisters and one another. Many paused in our Chapel to lift prayers for peace in our country and our world, reminding us that together, hope shines brighter. Thank you for making this celebration so meaningful.

A Joyful Gathering at the Motherhouse

Thank you for filling our Boutique with joy, laughter, and holiday spirit.

Thank you for supporting our Senior Sisters and communities in need through the Holiday Boutique as we honor 150 years of Dominican life in Mission San Jose.

Your presence this year enriches our 150 years of Dominican life in Mission San Jose with faith, fellowship, and peace.

This year’s Boutique will once again be a celebration of generosity and joy. Every purchase will support the care of our Senior Sisters, with 10% of proceeds dedicated to local and global relief. We look forward to welcoming you with hearts full of gratitude and festive spirit.

It is a joy to serve our Congregation and give leadership to the Direction Statement from our General Chapter.  We desire to “live out of a deep center of love” as we minister to “the young, the poor and the vulnerable” with joy, building “bridges of love” and unity in our world today.
